Site back online & Recents show cancellations

Sep 26, 2011   //   by Slique Events   //   News  //  No Comments

We like to apologize for the recent outages of our website. We have been working hard to address this, and everything should be back to normal now.

Meanwhile we informed you via our Facebook page, that Riley Smith and Slique Events regretted to announce that, due to a change in Riley’s filming dates, he could no longer come to London for the shows on 24th and 25th September. Both Riley and Slique Events deeply regret having had to postpone his appearance and apologise for the disappointment caused. We had done everything possible to try and get him released for the weekend, but sadly have been unable to do so. The German shows on 17th and 18th September were not affected by this.

Henri O’Connor and Jonah Dolan, however came to London and rocked the place in a single show on Saturday, 24th September. This show was complimentary to anyone who had pre-paid or reserved a ticket on the door for either the Saturday or Sunday shows. There also was an on the door charge of £5 to anyone coming along, who had not pre-paid or reserved a ticket.

Henri and Jonah are both very talented musicians and were playing a selection of favourite The Life of Riley tunes, as well as some of their own material. The Life of Riley gig on Sunday 25th September had to be cancelled entirely.

The cancelled show will be rescheduled for a later date, which will be confirmed soon. We would ask for your patience whilst the new date is being negotiated. Tickets can be transferred to the new show date or refunded. If you were attending the Sunday show only, then you have the option of transferring to the new date or having a refund. Anyone attending both shows will have their Sunday ticket refunded automatically.

If you have any queries or would like clarification on any points, please contact us using the enquiry form on this website. We will also contact all ticket holders on the email address supplied at the time of booking.

Once again, we sincerely apologise for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by the cancellation. We will bring you news of the rescheduled show date as soon as we have it.
